The RWB’s storybook season begins with renowned choreographer Twyla Tharp’s The Princess & The Goblin. Adapted from the fairytale by Victorian novelist George MacDonald – whose work influenced the great fantasy writers J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis – the critically-acclaimed story ballet is a dazzling romp through a fantastical world where goblins reign and courageous children battle for good over evil.

Culture Days is a collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. The 8th annual Culture Days weekend is September 29, 30 and October 1, 2017 and will feature thousands of free, hands-on, interactive arts and cultural activities. Culture Days aims to foster appreciation and support of the artistic and cultural life that is lived, created and expressed across the country in urban centers and rural communities alike.
