Every Friday we’ll be letting you know about a few choice happenings in the Exchange! If you have an idea for something to be featured, email firstname.lastname@example.org with “Five Ways to Exchange” in the subject line.
The Dirty Catfish Brass Band at Hepcat Studio
Since 2009, Hepcat Studio has been teaching and promoting swing and blues dancing, and the chance to dance along to the Dirty Catfish Brass Band in an intimate space promises to be a whole new experience (and it’s Hepcat’s Rent Party, so it’s for a good cause)!
On Friday, May 26, show up at 7:30 for beginner dance lesson, 8:30 for social dancing and 9 for music at 72 Princess Street (third floor). Tickets $20/advance, $25/door.

Wine & Words 2017
Theatre by the River’s annual fundraiser brings the raw writing of Winnipeg to you, via local actors and celebrities. This year’s theme is “It’s a Big, Big World”.
Saturday, May 27, 8pm at the Manitoba Museum’s Planetarium. Tickets are $40 at the door.
Check out Lennard Taylor’s classic, intimate shop before this great local designer moves into a bigger space (don’t worry – still in the Exchange)! Your spot for handcrafted works of art you can wear (a number of which are on sale right now, so that they have to move as little as possible)!
