Lemonade Stands for Hope in the Exchange

The Exchange District BIZ is proud to announce its participation in Lemonade Stands for Hope, a collaboration with CancerCare Manitoba. Working to benefit Manitobans from all walks of life, Lemonade Stands for Hope allows anyone and everyone across the province to set up their own stands, allowing people to purchase lemonade for 25 cents or make a donation in any sum to CancerCare from July 19-21.

This Friday (July 19) from 11am-1pm the BIZ will set up its own lemonade stand at the corner of Waterfront and Bannatyne! Come say hi, grab a lemonade, and learn all about the great things CancerCare does to improve the lives of Manitobans affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Some of our incredible businesses will be participating throughout the weekend as well, with 25 cents of these exclusive lemon beverages being donated to CancerCare.

Clementine is offering a Frozen Lemonade w/Saskatoon Berry Syrup and a Super Berry Shish Kabob.

Across the Board has multiple options, with its Shorts Weather cocktail (Lemonade, Peach and Ginger puree, 1oz of 204 gin) as well as Peach, Strawberry, Blueberry or Ginger flavoured Lemonade.

Joe and Lily is offering a lemon cookie.

King + Bannatyne is serving up its Fresh Squeezed Rosemary Lemonade.

Cordova delivers a secret cocktail (more to come).

Bodegoes will have its classic lemonade.

The Mitchell Block has Green Tea Lemonade served with a Scoop of Home Made Lemon Rosemary Sorbet, which will be sold outside The Mitchell Block  at our lemonade stand Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th (noon-8pm). They are also offering up a Green Tea Lemonade served with a Scoop of home made Lemon Rosemary Sorbet and Ungava Canadian Juniper Gin J, which will be sold upstairs at their lounge “The Wet and Dry Dept.”
