Join us on the patio! For the second year in a row, the Exchange District BIZ is partnering with Jazz Winnipeg for a concert series at Bijou Patio. Located in Bijou Park, the tree-lined, cobblestone plaza between the Cube and Main Street, Bijou Patio provides a Euro-style open air dining and drinking experience in the heart of downtown.
Courtney Devon is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living in Winnipeg and originally from North Dakota. She’s the singer of Amadians, a soul-pop group, as well as psychedelic-soul-inspired Odd Outfit. Courtney also collaborates on a number of other music projects, including Bluebloods (Conrad Sweatman) and works as a session musician. As if that weren’t all already enough, Courtney is preparing to release her solo debut EP.
Kenzie Jane has developed a unique style of original music, mixing sounds of RnB, Jazz, Folk, and mouth trumpet. She is becoming a seasoned performer playing various venues and festivals such as the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Winnipeg Pride, ManyFest and much more. This summer, Kenzie toured western and Northern Canada, playing festivals and shows in places from the Yukon to the small towns of Saskatchewan. She released her debut EP, Love Me From Scratch, this past April and is excited to start working on her next project.
There are no reservations and seating is first come, first served. All shows are free of charge to attend. This event is part of Love the Exchange, a week-long celebration of everything there is to love about the Exchange District.
