Join the Exchange District BIZ in celebration of the second annual Canada’s Historic Places Day! Historic places tell us the stories that brought Canada to life, teach us about our heritage in a way history class can’t, and can give us a sense of collective identity. To learn more about Canada’s Historic Places Day, and see the other historic sites in Manitoba, visit historicplacesday.ca.
A national historic site since 1997, the Exchange District is home to a stunning collection of heritage buildings from the turn of the 20th century that reflect the booms and busts of Winnipeg’s early history.
