What is ‘The Laundry Room’?
The Laundry Room is a pop-up movie theatre coming to the basement of Forth (171 McDermott Ave) in August. We’re going to play our favorite independent and experimental films, from both Winnipeg and around the world. The space itself will be a comfortable viewing space, somewhere between a 70’s arthouse theatre and your childhood living room. The Laundry Room is not-for-profit and all of the proceeds will go to local artists.
Accessibility
Forth has a single stall gender neutral washroom on the main floor of the cafe as well as a two stall gender neutral washroom and a two stall women’s washroom in the basement area. The venue is unfortunately located down a flight of stairs. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns or if you require any assistance please don’t hesitate to contact us by messaging our Facebook page or at thelaundryroomwpg@gmail.com.
