Sarah Neville is a painter, illustrator and mixed media artist based in Winnipeg, MB. She works in a variety of mediums – mostly with oil paint, watercolour and pen and ink. Having graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Honours from the University of Manitoba’s School of Art. In Neville’s newest exhibition,Absolutely Average Animals, Neville explores combining her two art worlds. This series of work displays her oil paintings and her watercolour illustrations. Official opening at 8pm) Running dates: February 02 – March 10, 2018 Curator: Sylvie Paré Artists: Hannah Claus, Nadia Myre, Sylvie Bernard, Mariette Manigouche, Diane Blacksmith, Lise Bibeau, Annette Nolett, Diane Robertson, and Akienda Lainé This traveling exhibition, produced in partnership with Les Productions Ondinnok Inc. and Commissioner Sylvie Paré, is a tribute to Aboriginal women who have been forgotten by history and silently disappeared. First Steps Choreography Competition and Performance

Started in 1990, this annual competition of new choreography is a unique opportunity for students to showcase their original work. First Steps is designed to increase students’ artistic sensitivity, awareness, and respect for the creative process, giving them the tools to become responsible, professional, and open-minded young artists. Follow First Steps with #FIRSTSTEPS2018. Tickets for First Steps are available by visiting rwb.org, in person through the RWB Customer Service Office at 380 Graham Avenue or by calling 204-956-2792. Adult tickets are $15, student/senior/child tickets are $10, and tickets to the final performance, awards ceremony, and post-show party on February 17 are $28 for everyone.
