Ashley Perrier is a practicing artist and tattoo artist residing in Winnipeg. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Bachelor of Fine Art with Honours in 2008. She has had various art shows, both solo and group in various galleries in Winnipeg and Calgary. She became a tattoo artist in 2010 and has worked in various tattoo studios in Winnipeg for the past 8 years. Her art work combines her knowledge and skill set she obtained from art school, with influences from the art world, ...

Hear the conductor’s introduction the music, a complete performance of the work, and participate in a Q+A – All in one hour! Johannes Brahms was one of the pillars of classical symphonic composers: the third of the famous “three B’s,” after J.S. Bach and Beethoven. Brahms’ First Symphony is an epic journey; a real story-in-music from dark to light, rich with memorable melody orchestras everywhere love to perform.

Sergei Rachmaninoff was an incredible musician - one of the greatest pianists in history and a much loved composer whose music always draws audiences in with its soaring romantic passion and brilliant orchestration. Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances is his work for orchestra, a great orchestral showpiece which puts the orchestra on high alert.
