(Rain location: 201 Concourse). \nHAVS – HAVS is an alternative R&B/Pop singer\, songwriter\, and producer known for her ethereal vocals and genre-defying sound. With a fluid approach and a magnetic honesty that defines her sound\, she blends strong R&B influences with evocative storytelling to deeply resonate with listeners. Her self-written songs are crafted to inspire connection and self-alignment\, harnessing the power of words and melodies to create vivid\, immersive worlds. \nRUIZ – Terence Ruiz is a Producer\, Songwriter\, and Audio Engineer at Private Ear Recording. Ruiz started in the basement\, a teenager piecing together a home studio with a love for Rap music. Over the years\, Ruiz continues to bring a certain edge that feels homegrown\, and you can feel that energy when Ruiz steps on stage. More recently\, he opened CTRL Space Records as a co-owner along with Derek Benjamin. Terence has been working with hundreds of artists over the past decade to develop his skills as a Producer\, Engineer & Writer to be able to leave clients happy when they receive a finished piece of work. Although he started learning and working on his own music\, he quickly made a buzz in the music scene\, which connected him with many like-minded individuals who wanted to work and create something special.

With a focus on both performance and education\, they engage audiences through concerts\, workshops\, and outreach programs\, aiming to make high-quality brass music more accessible and inspire the next generation of musicians. \nThe quintet includes trumpetists Justine Auger and Daniel Lehmann\, hornist Rachel Côté\, trombonist Eric Prodger\, and tubist Justin Hickmott. Together\, they bring experience from leading Canadian orchestras like the Winnipeg Symphony and Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal\, and have performed at renowned festivals such as Tanglewood and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. \nRooted in a love for chamber music\, the group brings brass to schools\, small communities\, and new listeners. (Rain location: 201 Concourse). \nAn insatiable desire to write and perform music has always driven Doug McArthur\, a prairie-born singer-songwriter with a voice that stops people in their tracks and hooks that refuse to leave your head. Over the years\, he’s been the frontman and creative force behind rock bands Broken Halo and Soapbox\, written and released two albums and an EP\, and toured Western Canada\, playing everything from festival stages to packed headlining shows. \nWhen YouTuber samuraiguitarist released a cover of “Pinball Wizard” featuring Doug on vocals\, it didn’t just turn heads—it caught the attention of The Who themselves. He was invited to sing backing vocals live with rock legends Heart and has shared the stage with The Trews\, The Tea Party\, Sum 41\, ZZ Top\, and more. His band Broken Halo won the Power 97 Class of 2010 with their single “Rooftops.” \nDoug is now performing as a solo act. He released his debut solo single\, Hermit Phase\, produced by Rusty Robot (Waking Eyes\, Imaginary Cities) and its follow-up\, Draw The Line\, in 2023. Next came an EP in 2024\, featuring a remix of Draw The Line produced by Lana Winterhalt and a live version of Magic recorded at Fairy Ring Studios (Slow Spirit).

(Rain location: 201 Concourse). \nMitchell Makoons (he/him) is a Roots/Rock musician from Brandon\, Manitoba\, who currently resides in Winnipeg. At the age of seven\, Mitchell began playing the guitar to accompany his grandfather and brother as they played Metis fiddle tunes. Makoons continues to be an active member of the Manitoba Metis community and writes songs that combine traditional Ojibway music and culture with modern influences. In 2024 he was named the Manitoba Country Music Awards “Emerging Artist of The Year.”

DESCRIPTION:Theatre Projects Manitoba invites you to join us for our first Art Party of the season! \nWhen: August 19\, 2025. 8:00pm – 10:00pm\, doors at 7:30.\nWhere: Saddlery on Market\, 114 Market Ave. \nOn August 19th\, Theatre Projects Manitoba is partnering with We Quit Theatre and Cluster Festival to host a night of fun experimental performance and music to celebrate TPM’s upcoming production of The Only Good Indian by Pandemic Theatre\, and WQT’s production GLORY! \nInspired by the intersection of personal and political themes that power both shows\, Bodies Politic is an interdisciplinary Art Party featuring an interactive digital performance “The Offices Yet to Come” by WQT and an original musical performance curated by Cluster Festival director Ashley Au. \nAlso featuring: free refreshments\, and cash bar open throughout the evening! \nTickets are $5 (or FREE for Season Pass Holders) and can be purchased at the door.\nAdvance tickets are on sale below and will close at 7:00pm day-of.

(Rain location: 201 Concourse). \nNothing wraps up a summer of Folklorama celebrations like the vibrant rhythms of Caribbean music—and Clyde Heerah and the Paradize Band bring that energy wherever they perform. \nOriginally from Trinidad and Tobago\, Clyde Heerah began his musical journey in Winnipeg with weekend jam sessions that grew into the formation of the Paradize Band. Since 1996\, the group has been a Folklorama favourite\, known for their infectious blend of Calypso\, Reggae\, Latin\, Top 40 hits\, and original songs. \nWhether performing at Canada Day events\, private receptions\, or schools and daycares across the city\, the Paradize Band delivers sunshine and island vibes through every beat of their steel pans.
