Nothing wraps up a summer of Folklorama celebrations like the vibrant rhythms of Caribbean music—and Clyde Heerah and the Paradize Band bring that energy wherever they perform.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Clyde Heerah began his musical journey in Winnipeg with weekend jam sessions that grew into the formation of the Paradize Band. Since 1996, the group has been a Folklorama favourite, known for their infectious blend of Calypso, Reggae, Latin, Top 40 hits, and original songs.
Whether performing at Canada Day events, private receptions, or schools and daycares across the city, the Paradize Band delivers sunshine and island vibes through every beat of their steel pans.
