Casey Koyczan is a Dene interdisciplinary artist originally from Yellowknife.
He creates art to better understand who we are, where we come from, and where we are going.
His work leans towards digital creation using the likes of 3D, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), audio and video. He is one of 30 Canadian visual artists longlisted for the prized Sobey Art Award.
Koyczan entered his extraordinary walk-cycle series Tadǫetła; Walk In A Circle and the short VR film Ełeghàà; All At Once, which we will see at the Art Talk.
