Le Burger Week is back for another year, and is once again extending it to two weeks! Despite the announcement of a plant-based theme this round, Exchange District restaurants have rebelled to bring us a slew of meaty creations, including Johnny G’s outrageous double patty bacon burger which swaps a bun for its famous chicken fingers. Amsterdam Tea Room, Shawarma Khan, Supreme Macaroni Co and James Avenue Pumphouse are giving the best of both worlds by offering vegetarian or vegan versions upon request.

The SINCERE BURGER is an honest, down to earth, burger which focuses on quality ingredients, sustainability and inclusivity. ¼ lb all beef brisket and chuck signature blend patty, pickles, slivered onions, 3-month aged cheddar, house made burger sauce, Gunn’s bun. Looking for a vegetarian option or looking to reduce your carbon footprint? Sub the beef patty for a plant-based patty for $2. The plant-based Sincere Burger can be made VEGAN on request.

The Picanha burger is a custom made 6oz ground top sirloin cap pattie topped with Monterrey Jack and cheddar cheeses, caramelized onions, a chimichurri corn relish, housemade pineapple bbq aioli, arugala and tomatoes all on a fresh made pineapple butter bun from Gunn’s bakery. This burger is definitely worthy of the title king and has earned its crown.

Johnny G’s not so plant based burger consists of chicken fingers as the burger’s buns, 2 quarter pound all beef patties, 2 strips of bacon, 2 slices of cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and your choice of the mayo bbq sauce version, or the homemade honey dill and homemade burger sauce version! Comes with a mountain of fresh cut fries!
