Pan Am Boxing Club, Winnipeg’s longest-standing boxing gym, has been a symbol of empowerment since opening shortly after the 1968 Pan Am Games. Transitioning into a non-profit in 2013, it expanded its mission to support the community, including establishing Pan Am Place — a transitional housing program for men aged 18-29.
Pan Am Boxing, open to everyone, is led by Team Canada alums and offers classes for all skill levels. The club’s programs include boxing classes, private training, spin sessions, and a competitive fight team, all designed to enhance fitness and transform lives. The club features three unique spaces: two fully equipped boxing gyms and a cardio/core floor.

The Third Place offers a range of programming, including bring-your-own art nights, yoga classes, art shows, and special events. Its main goal is to create a space where people can connect and feel a sense of community and belonging. In sociology, “the third place” refers to a place to spend time and connect that is neither home nor work, which is what The Third Place aims to be.
